(Stillwater, Okla.) -- Former Cushing Walmart Assistant Manager Bobby Allen Davis has been ordered to stand trial on a felony charge of knowingly concealing about $500 worth of merchandise allegedly stolen from his place of employment.
Davis, 41, of Cushing, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Feb. 4 and is due to appear in trial court on March 23 for arraignment.
Former Cushing Walmart Support Manager Jacob Estes, 26, of Cushing, who was arrested about 20 minutes after Davis, is scheduled to appear in court on March 4 on a felony charge of knowingly concealing about $500 worth of merchandise allegedly stolen from the store.
Both former management employees were released from the Payne County Jail on $5,000 bail each on Dec. 11, the day after they were arrested at their residences by Cushing Police Officer Bill McCarty, court records show.
Walmart staff said that items recovered from the defendants' homes totaled about $10,000, according to a Cushing police news release.
A Walmart loss prevention employee "had been conducting an in-store investigation regarding merchandise being taken from the store and being sold at various locations," McCarty wrote in an affidavit.
The Walmart employee "learned that an unknown person had attempted to sell a movie to a distributor before the movie was due to be released," the affidavit said.
After an internal investigation indicated that Davis and Estes were the suspects, Walmart contacted the Cushing Police Department, McCarty's affidavit said.
When the officer talked to Estes in a Walmart office on Dec. 10, "Jacob stated that he and Bobby Davis had been doing this for some time, and even had some items in his car that he had taken from the store during his shift," McCarty's affidavit alleged.
"Jacob Estes retrieved the items from his vehicle and gave them back to Walmart," the affidavit alleged. "The items consisted of an assortment of movies and games and CDs, which totaled $446.92.
"Jacob also gave permission for me to search his vehicle and two more CDs were found that belonged to Walmart, which totaled $28.14," McCarty alleged in his affidavit.
"While talking to Jacob, he stated that that he had more items at his house and he would like to give them back," McCarty alleged in his affidavit.
McCarty then spoke to Davis, who "stated that he and Jacob had been removing items from the store for some time, and he would take some of the items and sell them," the officer's affidavit alleged.
"Bobby also stated that he had other items at his residence and would like to give them back to Walmart," the affidavit alleged.
"While searching his (Davis's) residence, Deputy Chief Folden found a marijuana cigarette on the end table in the living room," the affidavit alleged.
Drug paraphernalia was also found in Davis's residence, which is located 211 feet from the Cushing Middle School, the affidavit alleged.
"During the search of the residence, numerous CDs and games and movies were recovered and taken into evidence," the affidavit alleged.
When Estes' residence was searched, "numerous DVDs, CDs and games along with a lap-top computer and an electronic tablet," were recovered, McCarty alleged in his affidavit.
If convicted of knowingly concealing property stolen from the Cushing Walmart, Estes and Davis could each be given a five-year prison term and a $500 fine.
If convicted of additional misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Davis could be given two one-year jail terms and fined $2,000.
Both defendants had been working the night shift at the Cushing Walmart, according to a Cushing police news release.
"Estes admitted that he and Davis had been taking items from the store for approximately five to six months," the Cushing police news release alleged.
Davis "admitted to taking items from the store with the assistance of Estes. Davis also admitted to selling several items at various locations in Tulsa and Stillwater," the Cushing police news release alleged.
If the government bans stupid people you will be in trouble micky99. By the way, what planet are you from?
Wal-Mart Corporation, Luan Mai (the Lumberton Walmart manager who worked to authorize this contribution), and Lumberton Realtor Joan Abshire (the person in charge of the political action committee) have violated Texas Election Laws in a MAJOR way with an ILLEGAL $25,000 money exchange, according to the facts presented in a complaint against them. The Texas Ethics Commission is investigating, and at a minimum, large fines will be assessed with a maximum of one year in prison possible for the Class A Misdemeanor.
This article about a Walmart campaign finance violation is just the tip of the iceberg. I will be writing more articles in the near future detailing a much bigger problem with this local Lumberton, TX Walmart to include evidence of local public corruption, and even bribery.
UK's GLOBAL WARMING TAX CAUSED ASTEROID TO MISS HTTING THE EARTH. The only way to stop asteroid collisions with earth is worldwide global warming taxes.
How much did you say? $95 a barrel? Well that's where NYMEX MAR 2013 is trading now. But think again. It's closer to $118 a barrel because Brent Crude is used to price two thirds of the world's internationally traded crude oil supplies.
Solazyme is quickly becoming a global company, with global partners and global customers. The cost of oil for many of these companies is $118, and this price doesn't look to be dropping anytime soon.
Brent Crude is a major trading classification of sweet light crude oil comprising Brent Blend, Forties Blend, Oseberg and Ekofisk crudes (also known as the BFOE Quotation). Brent Crude is sourced from the North Sea. The Brent Crude oil marker is also known as Brent Blend, London Brent and Brent petroleum. The other well-known classifications (also called references or benchmarks) are the OPEC Reference Basket, Dubai Crude, Oman Crude, and West Texas Intermediate. Brent is the leading global price benchmark for Atlantic basin crude oils. It is used to price two thirds of the world's internationally traded crude oil supplies.
Originally Brent Crude was produced from the Brent oilfield. The name "Brent" comes from the naming policy of Shell UK Exploration and Production, operating on behalf of ExxonMobil and Royal Dutch Shell, which originally named all of its fields after birds (in this case the Brent Goose). But it is also an acronym for the formation layers of the oil field: Broom, Rannoch, Etieve, Ness and Tarbat.
Petroleum production from Europe, Africa and the Middle East flowing West tends to be priced relative to this oil, i.e. it forms a benchmark. However, large parts of Europe now receive their oil from Russia.
Brent blend is a light crude oil (LCO), though not as light as West Texas Intermediate (WTI). It contains approximately 0.37% of sulphur, classifying it as sweet crude, yet not as sweet as WTI. Brent is suitable for production of petrol and middle distillates. It is typically refined in Northwest Europe.
Brent Crude has an API gravity of around 38.06 and a specific gravity of around 0.835.
Nuance was one of the original partners in the development of Android. At the time I remember the #$%$ they took for giving the tech away for free. Might this chicken come back to roost some time soon? Siri has been a non starter for NUANCE only because nothing has been divulged. Think of the possibilities if NUANCE is deferring rev as Ricci keeps saying and they truly are Android, Siri, Watson, MSFT, etc etc all bundled in one? Think about it...where's Tomcat? I always thought Vlingo was the purchase of the decade. That a acquisition has been very quiet. I believe the 4th of July comes sooner than anyone is expecting!

Pac Sunwear? Seriously? I didn't know that brand was still around. I wouldn't even know where to buy their #$%$.
And Jamba. Low margin fruit stands aren't quite revolutionary medicine outfits. Remember TCBY. Mmmm that was good stuff, are they still in business? Or ask PinkBerry how their business is doing. Oh I'll tell you, they way overexpanded and have ridiculously low margin....if you're worried about a 28 year old scam artist move on to the FB board. That company is valued at $50b, high than Caterpillar who does $6b in quarterly revenue to FaceBooks $50m
Over the past few weeks I have accumulated 1500 Jan 15 calls at an average price of .59 cents. Hopefully, I am not too early...I think they should be worth 3 or 4 dollars before the PDUFA in Jan/ Feb 2014. I think the stock price should be around $7.50 or so around that time...
