if Rooney can't play in this DGW, i think to swap him with Mata.
Suarez , Aguero , Rooney(C) / Mata
Ramsey , Nasri , Yaya , Matic
Vidic , Koscielny , Kompany
SUBS : Vergini , Nocerino , Wilkinson , Schwarzer
i feel so bad if i must sell Koscielny, i got him @12.12M and now he's @18.19.
3 May : Arsenal vs WBA
11 May : Norwich vs Arsenal
i think he'll get cleansheet for all matches left.
Contrary to your belief, Butch doesn't have my phone number.
Everyone knows that UTD have been shocking this year. At least Butch has the courage to acknowledge it on here.
Remy would be an improvement to the squad but Wenger could put him on the bench and be a back-up to Giroud. Ideally we would sign a world class striker but that thus not look likely IMO.
I don't think Giroud or Remy strike the same fear in defenders as, Suarez or Mandzukic or Costa or Benzema.
If we sign Loic Remy, who is good but not world class, I hope we sign a (potential) world class player like Draxler. We need more goals and players who can win the big games with a moment of brilliance and pace.
Finally having secured 4th before the game, I don't really understand why we did not give Sanogo 90 minutes. Wenger claimed a few weeks ago there were no easy games, after City beating Everton, we were presented with the rare gift of 2 PL games with no meaning. Great opportunities to give valuable experience to young guns.
Decided (as a tribute to Pulis) to do this before last night's stunner, weak? As long as Suarez doesn't go ballistic h) Geordies, this team will hopefully beat many better looking fantasy sides this week;
Ince, Murray, 2 x 1 + 5.25m, gla it's been fun, let's do it all again next season :)
New deal for Johnson? Mistake in my opinion. What has he done to deserve one? While, as you say Skrtel has dropped a bomb or two he is, I agree being exposed by his other defending partners and midfield in front. You defend as a unit and we've been guilty of not doing that at times.
There are many over the last two weeks that have criticised Rodgers for some of his tactics . Firstly not being able to break down Chelsea which I find odd and now going after Palace.
I would say that there's a huge responsibility on the players here. The tactics, in what Rodgers wants from his team is quite simple; keep the ball. That's it. Our problem is that we don't have the composure, skills and belief to actually stay 100% disciplined. We basically over stretch ourselves and try to force the issue and that leads to problems especially nowadays where teams are so effective on the counter. Pace is king.
In short I think Rodgers is right but he has work to keep developing the squad and players (including sales and acquisitions) to truly play to that philosophy. In my mind you should stay true to your roots and not change for anyone.
Yeah Russ, I don't think "well done Net for going all City at the back wk 37 because Giggs will rotate", I think "why the heck did I start Mata when Dzeko was so obvious?" lol
Rulz, 50 pts is a massive gap to close on anyone in a single week, let alone a group leader! Realistically it can't be done... unless Suarez scores next to nowt. So your only chance is to go against Suarez, don't even pick him as insurance. Pick a captain that you think he won't even have in his team, a pray! lol gl
renewed mine as well, cost me a fortune last season, sold a few bits and bobs to fund next season Al and biking it to work ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I am brand new at this and am forever grateful that NBC Sports got the right to the Premier League. Loved every minute and am looking forward to the World Cuo and to the new season in August. I still have much to learn and look forward to it. Anyways here is my finish:
3635 Points total and 114 today led by Suarez with 20 and Paulinho with 17.
Now that season is over it might be a good time to see what we think of this last season.
As far as I am concerned these are the main takeaways:
This was our best season in a long time. Point wise we improved over last season. We also lead to PL longer than we have for a long time. Although some might want to say it only means something when you lead after the final day, I think the fact that we lead for so long, particularly when we had most important players available says something about this squads potential. To me Ozil was what unlocked the good start to our season and it can not be overstated how much confidence, across the board - fans and players alike - his signing installed. It showed that we might be back to being ready to build a team to win a major trophy. It was also interesting to see how Ozil's presence seemed to lift Ramsey to a new level and Walcott as well but to a lesser degree.
Stand out players:
Koscielny - had a great season IMHO one of the best CB in the PL
Ramsey - break out season, bringing valuable goals, lets hope it was not a one of season and that he will get over his injury problems.
Ozil - got out of the gate flying and was great until he was burned out but has looked good after his return
Sagna - solid season
Flamini - showed me that we have missed true leaders on the pitch and need a player with his level of agression.
Walcott - unitl he was injured showed he is an important scoring threat and one of our only players able to get behind defenders, a skill much needed to use all talents Ozil posses. IMO it was not a coincidence Ozil dropped a little once Walcott was out and his replacements made no real runs behind defenders.
I'm sure you have redeeming qualities UABU...and that you're quite a nice guy in real life....
...maybe if you spent less time with piglet..?
...not a good look...
The trolls, naysayers and non-Arsenal fans will keep howling all day long on your timeline. Just ignore and enjoy the win. This is special. Nothing will spoil our day.
LMFAO - I tell you I'm not responding and suddenly you think I'm away with my tail between my legs?
You really are one silly OLD twit, I got what I'd wanted, you riled up and biting!
It's always funny to get you chomping at the bit and then just cut you off with responses cold turkey, that's usually when you start going mental, you silly OLD fart!
"Second of all Chelsea might very well be the most successful team in the PL measured over the last 10-15 years."
They MIGHT have been, but they WEREN'T!
"Hardly a team that has won nothing"
I was OBVIOUSLY talking about BEFORE a billion pounds of Russian Mafia money was pumped into the place.
