Actually today announcement of 400,000 hens was pullets just baby layers but what it indicates is that Wright county has flu and its spreading. Should be No surprise if another million or two layers breaks out this weekend...
If we are in probably the slowest week of the year for egg sales and the egg market currently MWUB 2.62/doz
you can easily surmise that Sidoti's ACE Analyst Pelligrino is contemplating raising Calms average selling price substantially which would cause him to raise CALM 2016 PPS and target price.
Even if the flu stops today, which is highly unlikely, there is a massive shortage of eggs in the US. 90% of the bird losses come from NW IOWA. There could be a massive shortage of eggs for 1-3 years and if you are not long yet you will never be long CALM. have a good weekend. Less
no tesla isn't. they have a small core of cult supporters but its not enough to sustain the company long term. especially since they don't have a product they can sell for a profit.
I sold a 100 June contracts awhile back. It looks like they might exercise . We will see. If they do I might pick my shares back up on a pull back if not I made some good change on this.
Just a point of clarification here, BMY did not drop today because of lack of efficacy in pts expressing less than 1% PDL1 on their tumors the stock dropped becusse the OS difference in 2nd line compared to docetaxel was less than expected. One thing I noted is docetaxel came in at over 9months. This is a bit higher than expected as about 8 months is more typical in this setting.
The big question now is if Cabo can do better than Nivo in this setting. We will know this answer to this very important question on Sunday. Of course with all the cautions associated with cross trial comparisons etc.

I think that everyone here is (should be) familiar with the interim ReACT data, so no need to rehash all of that, but IMO if the data over the weekend continues to show tails in the long-term overall survival curves iof ReACT study patients, Celldex will be the talk of the conference. Strong 6 month PFS of course is essential, but those OS tails were pretty impressive for a terminal glioblastoma patients and we are 6 months further along. Let's hope they remain and the longer the better.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I think the UP shoudld make a move on the KCS , they could roll it into the Southern and Northern regions , do away with most of the KCS upper management and middle management just add that territory to existing UP management. Big reduction in cost, and a pick up in car loadings . The big IF is KCS debt may be to big for anybody to take on. But this is the right time in history to make the run a big win for the UP If the debt isn't insurmountable.
