"Symm QoE management bragging many wins at Telmex (Mexico), Orange, Telus (Canada), all promises in Europe, Japan, China and Asia. Time to add these into revenue streams.
Yeah right..Now more announcements. SHOW ME THE MONEY...!!!"

"Symmetricom also announced an enhanced, high-density platform for the Q-1200 Headend Analyzer. The Q-1200 now monitors more than double the number of channels (8HD/32SD – MPEG-2)."

"For our V-Factor products, we are very pleased to have been selected by a major Latin American carrier for commercial deployments in their IPTV rollout. Our video monitoring solution will be integrated with HP’s Quality Management System for use in Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia. "You are kidding....Previous QoE team were knowledgeable and honest. We spent our efforts and investment in them. Newly hype QoE products are full of bugs and never work right at basic level. Supports are a big jokes to waste our efforts and time.
These new QoE gurus at Symmetricom are big clows and jokes. If you are serious Triple Plays providers, stay away from Symmetricom.
Ask for References and check for them. Symmetricomm effectly destroyed its reputations in Asia."

“Q-Advisor provides a critical tool to ensure better video quality at the source where it can be controlled, while at the same time, reducing the monitoring equipment footprint and power usage.” Kevin Hsu, vice president of product marketing at Symmetricom.

"Symmetricom delivered new Q-Advisor and Q-1200 every 6 months. New Symmetricom CEO and new QoE management team: No Earning. No Customers. Only Rosy Promises, bogus marketing and Design Wins Announcements."

"QoE QAdvsor is a PoS. Only a fool will buy this crap. It does not work and full of bugs. Symmetricom would denied issues, waited for few weeks, and came back with beta firmware which created new problems. Support is terrible. They have no clue but running you around.
I would recommend SYMM management to use it themselves before making themselves look bad and ruin their reputation.
Sales and Product Marketing teams are one of the worst we have ever seen.
Check them out and you will find out the truth. I would not recommend you to waste your time."

    • Tom Steipps, CEO, proudly announced to customers and investors that QoE won a huge design wins...with a new management in control. Watch it closely...burn rate is huge. Most important of all, nobody wants to buy QoE products. Competitions are far more superior. Support is better. Symm has nothing to offer.

TTM and TSD are paying the price and carrying all the burnden. New management is incompetent and clueless.

      Timber !!!

We have already received initial orders and delivered our first shipments in the quarter. The remaining equipment will be deployed over the next 12 months. We are encouraged by our growing relationship with HP and this win demonstrates the leading nature of our platform’s advanced capabilities.

Trials of our V-Factor monitoring solution continue with nine major U.S. cable service providers, up from six trials that were underway last quarter, as well as several telecom equipment providers and carriers. We expect the trials to conclude on a rolling basis over the next few quarters and are optimistic about the outcome.

We have received initial orders for our high end Q-1000 Headend video analyzer, from two of the cable trials which were completed in the quarter. We continue to see digital video as a key driver in the evolution of next generation networks, and as the market adoption for monitoring video quality increases, we believe that our V-Factor platform will be an attractive solution. Symm paid a cool $16 Million for QoE and million in losses. Nothing but hot air and bogus announcements.

    • QOE is the worst, Symm will write off more losses in first quarter. So much deadweights and overheads. Only chiefs no Indians.

    • Check the recent news items... Symm eliminated the QoE Division and wrote off the $14.3 million investment in Q4 2008.

    • yes, it was bad and they are cutting back their investment.
