Can ANYONE explain how ANY of the Chinese solar panel manufacturers can earn ANY profit?
So, they have reported their earnings and it appears the more they sell, the more money they lose. It appears they lose from 30-40% of the selling price. That is, for every $1 on sales, they lose 30-40 cents.
If the Chinese central government and city-states refuse to let companies die and keep pumping out more and more panels, how can ANYONE make a profit?
2013 is predicted to have 32 Gigagwatts in demand for solar panels, but there is some 70 Gigawatts in manufacturing capability a year. That is more than double the manufacturing capability than demand.
Now, this is the manufacturing capability NOT INCLUDING all the new Japanese and Korean's saying they are jumping in now in the near future.
