Ah, but then you go to other parts of NC, like the triangle, and it's booming. That is the normal cycle and there will be winners and losers in capitalism.
The US should largely be out of manufacturing anyway. It is very low value add. Unfortunately for the UAW members, their leadership has done nothing to prepare them for the inevitability of this. And the companies are utterly mismanaged.
Sometime I wonder why I stay in Michigan. Love Ann Arbor but the rest of the state is going to hell in a handbasket.
