This is an update on bill count using the #s posted. I've been tracking them.
July's average bill count per weekday (excluding holidays) was 44256, Aug was 44099, Sep was 44762. That Sep count so far is higher than any month in the last 6 months except June (44840)
In Terms of Q3 overall so far, bill count is 44372, Q2 was 44103.
But that's bill count only, not tonnage. Remember, in July alone tonnage went up 3.6% per weekday.
using th stats providd by YRCW on the call along with revnue split estimat between national and rgional, tonnage was up 3.6% per weekday in july vs june. With the pricee hike in Sep, it will be intrstin to see how revenue changes
You can calculate all you want. Revenue was not UP almost 10% in July over June. If younger right we'd already know it. It wouldn't be a secret. Zollars would be screaming from the mountaintops.
In fact revenue was lower in July than it was in June.
It is every year and it was this year. So the trend continues.
YRCW's own figures from teh conference call show tonnage was up 3.6% per workday and other public figures suggest an estimated rise of 9.74% per workday. Either provide something to contradict the public figures or get lost
