only they already had the 15 % and the freight they haul doesn't pay . It's mostly 3rd party freight with the profit already taken by the brokers, plus those new trucks they don't buy they pay a fortune just to keep them on the road . A lot of people are going to get their #$%$ burnt on this one .
We can only wish that. There is a good possibility that because of the driver shortage, YRCW has purchased outside transportation at top dollar prices to make good on delivery guarantees. That's what they had to do in the first Q because of Winter weather. That's what they may have just done in the 2nd Q because of the driver shortage.
Never doubt YRCW's capacity to lose money. That's the only thing the firm has done consistently for over five years.
The operating agreement allows YRCW to purchase up to 6% of transportation from outside vendors. That's so YRCW can make more money, but YRCW has consistently been able to lose money when it has been expected to make money. That's why a sixth of the shares are sold short.
I own 16,000 shares of this at just under its current trading price. I hope I am wrong about them losing money.
