RGDX new BRAF melanoma test for new drug

I am merely pointing out that rgdx's NEW test for BRAF mutation RE: melanoma, which was just announced less than a month ago, is clearly a play on the NEW drug Zelboraf. Given rgdx has onco's that use rgdx for their other cancer tests, I'd expect rgdx will get some incremental sales out of this...

Get it, new drug and new RGDX diag test that addresses that potential market. The fact that there are already competitors with BRAF tests for Melanoma is obvious, Gene. In fact there are competitors for ALL of rgdx's tests. so what is your point?

    • cali-girl I rather doubt gene is trying to make a point that is fundamental to rgdx and the future success other than that he has always been on this board a busy body who likes to TRY and muddy the waters, so I suppose he does that purposely in an effort to BUY cheaper shares!

right gene, even a simple mind like yours can see the LT value of RGDX shares? if not and you are just a basher of sorts I must confess you are way off base here!

CG...gene is unworthy of your wisdom and I have stared most of your posts as I find your DX knowledge uniquely germain to RGDX!

In fact both Roche and DNA may be using our assay developed at RGDX,... I am not sure but I know that Roche has a strategic alliance w/ RGDX on the commercial side and that is INVESTIGATIVE so I assume its on this new oncologic drug or others...that being said the addition is welcome in terms of the BRAF gene test and clearly points to RGDX moving to expand share of voice per call in UNMET needs like this orphan indication...which is critical these days, particularly as you build out the sales force!

thanx CG for your wisdom even if you must suffer yahoo fools!

      frank

    • You don't get it... RGDX cannot use there own BRAF test.... they have to use the one that was approved by the FDA... So, they now need to validate this new FDA approved BRAF test... and so does every other lab.
