Recently I posted that if I got 20 thumbs up I'd do a way in depth review on seeking alpha, well I'm pulling graphs, reading articles, looking at a lot of scientific journals on technology and drilling, cost of different resources ,and let me put it this way

Next to nuclear power you won’t find a more efficient energy source, and next to Coal or Gas you won’t find cheaper, look up capacity factors 2013 U.S Energy Information Administration, also look at the price range of renewable power U.S Department of Energy. It’s in simple picture form for simple minds like myself also

US. Geothermal loan cost is way cheap, look at the average interest rate and length

Debt to equity is a weak measurement when interest is fixed at extremely low end rates,

U.S Geothermal is currently keeping cost at the low end compared to other operators in the same area

HOW - they are defining the resources , its time consuming but if you go haphazard and fast , you will not get the same operating efficiency's we are seeing with NHS, Raft River and San Emidio .

Like management stated it’s hard to see improvements past 99%

If you think they can't get financing, then when the last time you got a loan for 3% and now they are just waiting for the right offer on ownership for the project , they know what they go,t but they want the best deal so its poker face time. They can grow without risk to shareholder equity and avoid a potential dilution if they get some of the same Loans, let’s say they get a loan at 20% interest for 30 years for San Emidio and Guatemala, tell me what you think cash flow be, negative or positive, I would think someone would be willing to prove me wrong bring be down a peg or two

I admit I'm biased and own shares so please I need more of a devil’s advocate here, I need to know both sides to the argument in detail , so I can create a perfected article , so please help, with more facts if you can, I have a lot of opinion I'll hammer it out in the end :) .

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • renewable, environmentally friendly, non-polluting; does not contribute to global warming the way others do

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • A good long term loan rate for San Emideo and Guatemala would be more like 7% or less not 20% right? Geothermal competes with hydro out west. I wonder which source requires less maintenance and downtime. I know PG&E spends considerable manpower maintaining their network of flumes and hydro electric power plants. especially after heavy rains and flooding. Enjoy reading your post and others.
