A rift-raft (my opinion) law firm is reaching out to see if there is any interesst in filing a class action lawsuit against the company and trying to sign up people.
Why? Because management is going to ask the shareholders approval to increase the shares available for outstanding to be used as incentive for officer & employees.
So vote for it or don't. But they did not do anything wrong. Go back an check some of the most sucessful companies, tons of them did the same thing to retain talent in their early days.
The success of this company will ride on the outcome of the MS trials. Not some potential lawuit.
Funny, the bashers were over at DNDN, HGSI, ARNA, POZN, and a few others when I made more than a handsome profit. Glad to see you louses here too. Makes me feel secure in my current rather modest position in OPXA. THis one is still a few years out though.
Hey Gary. Good to see you back! I am headed for Houston tomorrow. I bought Opexa on a whim and becasue it goes after a sexy (to the money world) problem ......... MS (horrific disease to have). Too early in the trials to make any real mathmatical decisions and usually earlier than I get into a biotec. But this has volatility and a decent chance for a buy out. I am in it light (5k shares) starting at 1.30 per share. Spec stock at this point but maybe make some decent money. More chat later ........ gotta get up at 3:30 am for the airplane ride.
lol...sold on news many thought was bad. Just like someone screaming fire and everyone bolted out. What was it...Potential Breach...POTENTIAL...cmon give me a break! This drop was nice ending with a nice scoop in the high 160s letting it go if it pops a few more cents tomorrow. These penny moves are not chump change.Gotta love it.
I guess that's the rub: management didn't ask shareholders. They just moved to dilute 3 MM shares above what the existing 2010 policy allows. All of your other points are valid. Long-term looks good based on initial phase iib data.
