This article has nothing specific to say about MNKD and provides no specific examples as to why she thinks Greenhill is overvalued. However, if I were to focus on any statement the might involve infer an impact from MNKD it would be this "With GHL trading at ~$54 per share, a forward multiple of 28X, the market seems to be pricing the stock as if it were a forgone conclusion that the firm's profits will increase rapidly". The author of course disagrees with that valuation but again, she has nothing concrete to support his contention. Perhaps the market is smarter than the author.
I am wondering if you even read the article. It would indicate that MNKD likely negotiated an extremely attractive price on the procurement of Greenhill's services. It is also unrealistic to assume that MNKD did not shop and negotiate with multiple companies, that provide similar services.
So other then the point that Greenhill would of been exceptionally hungry to expand their pipeline, and probably offered MNKD a very attractive price for their services, you post is rather irrelevant. Typical of a continual basher to try and twist information into something negative, that should be considered either positive or a non-event.
guess they will be getting one huge feather in their cap soon to follow on the tail of the Forest Labs deal, and the feather I'm talking about may be a marquee or franchise one at that. Maybe she is not fully understanding the reason for the price action in the stock. Yes I understand her reasoning for possibly her taking a short position in GHL but sometimes the market IS smarter than the average bear ;-)
