Of course new product concepts are a 'horse race'. It is to be expected that sometimes the first iterations mst have to be even re-positioned (and tweaked). However, one should not only look at the horse, but especially in this case maybe also look at the jockey as well. Sanofi is a well respected BP with significant marketing depth, and which most probably would not have made the business decisions they have in this case without realistically and critically exploring these kinds of issues. Yes, in logic this kind of optimistic approach to evaluation and dealing with this type of subject is clearly often frowned upon and referred to as 'an appeal to authority'. Again however, Sanofi's core strategic and tactical roles will have to be to try overcome some these types of expected initial market resistance factors. I too hope that this approach is correct. Look Kramer up on Youtube. There is a great video of him confessing to spreading false rumors about a company so he can drive the price down and make a lot of money.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Is this the same Cramer who said in June that Al Mann has exceeded his expectations and is this the same Cramer who on day or partnership said that MNKD is going to go up and shorts had about a week to cover?
