Pathetic, what numbers are you skipping over besides most metrics? This stock is a virtual lock to double and triple in the next 2 years. It is extremely undervalued and last time I checked Brazil is on a long term growth path. Check the demographic chart on pg 123 of paperback Roaring 2000s by Dent and tell me this isn't surging all the way into 2030. I am amazed it has gotten this cheap but happy to keep adding.
Well, they missed earnings and lowered their forecast. That doesn't inspire confidence. As I see it, the explosion of debt/leverage on their balance sheet yielding pathetic earnings screams of mismanagement, hence the recent CEO resignation. If it wasn't for the secular growth story as you point out, this company wouldn't have a clue.
If you believe what they said in their report, then end of year results with higher margins should change momentum in the stock's price. the difficulty that the company is going through dates back to projects in 2007 and 2008, so more recent developments are further off on the horizon. for the short term, there's no impetus to own this stock unless interest rates in Brazil begin to fall quickly or some other factor unforeseen occurs. otherwise, i see no bounce but just a lot of sideways activity.
