LINE closed today at $31.77. Noone on that board can figure out how LINE can be at 31.77 and LNCO at $37 when they get the same exact dividend. Any thoughts?
I read somewhere that LINE was easier to short than LNCO. I'm not sure why. Maybe it is just that there are more shares to short.
LINE has a much bigger tax burden. LNCO is treated like an ordinary stock. They pay regular dividends. LINE on the other hand has a very complex tax burden. Thats just the short story on why the price difference.
I doubt that. There is something else going on. Ed
