Ok with me. I just started a DRIP plan with the initial purchase on 7/3/13. Up 3% already. For once Cramer was right, but in all fairness, he is predicting long term EPS growth due to increased shipments of oil and LNG. His program a few weeks ago was all about the effect the abundance of US and Canada's new oil and natural gas production will have on our economy.
I would say it is relevant. Why does any company split? It make shares seem more affordable to small investors even though the value of the company doesn't change. Price increases usually follow since the "small time" investors think the stock is now more affordable. This usually boosts demand and drives up the price.
