His message has always been the same do the research and know what you are buying and where it is going and why. I got into LNG 2 years before it even hit his radar ($2.30 per) and traded it and made a lot with it. I now have a substantial position and it is now an investment. I agree don't buy everything he says "buy buy buy" take everything he says with a grain of salt. As I said I did my "homework" as he calls it way before he even heard of Cheniere. I will hold my position for the long term, I only hope they don't get bought out before the dividends come into play. As for Cramer he is theatrical but I think he is a pretty smart dude. He knows how to play the game and I believe his heart is in the correct place he wants the little guy to make it.
Cramer screams blows noise makers and mumbles like a teenager, and though he never worked in industry, sometimes a very obvious energy price profit opportunity is even grasped by him.. Before all the govt approvals he called it speculative.
Now he appropriately calls it an early leader in this early emerging growing market.
You would be making a huge mistake to buy every stock Cramer says to buy, but don't ever think he is a dummy. The guy is one smart investor who learned to use the system years ago as a hedge fund manager.
Nobody can give recommendations and follow up on every stock that gets mention on his show.
It is a good place to get ideas, but it is up to the individual to follow up and do their own DD.
