Mckenna, the only such share sale I know about was a year ago. That's too bad, because when companies like IStar sell shares or borrow money, that means more income for the company. That's how it makes money, by loaning it out at higher interest rates. Unlike most companies, when a Mortgage company sells shares, that's GOOD news for its shareholders.
How did you calculate that they sold 3 million shares? The filing suggests that they hold more than 6% of all SFI shares outstanding in 4 Barclay subs? I think the filing represents and increase in the number of shares held by Barclays.
