ACTC orphan drug status, how likely is it that the EU will not do so as well? Hmmmmm....think about it and then behave accordingly. Don't fret the pennies. You'll have more stress fighting your greed trying to figure out how many shares to sell at how many dollars.
Spot on, Nmbr1. Here's a little ditty.
It ought to be plain / how little you gain / by getting excited / and vexed. / You'll always be late / for the previous train, / and always in time / for the next. -Piet Hein, poet and scientist (1905-1996)

heck of a good thread....all posts...gltu all.....
Well said. There is, in my opinion, ZERO chance that this won't get approved in Europe. ACT would never have filed for this if they didn't already believe they wouldn't get approved for SMD trials in EU. They know this will happen. They also know that a EU partnership is a forgone conclusion. Not pumping, just putting 2 and 2 together.
I wonder how long it will take to find out whether Europe gives approval for Phase I/II trails-- anyone?
Yes, if people here are biotech traders, then they should realize that today was a catalyst that traders have been waiting for. Naturally they sell since the stock didn't spike and the runup is over.
There will be a second runup on biotech traders anticipating FDA response most likely after the new year. People want money for xmas and new years. Wait until the details of the Phase I clinical trial come out and a hard FDA approval date to move into Phase II is released. You'll see a nice runup at that point.
Like has always been said - this stock will get hot in the first half of 2011...I doubt it's gonna get hot before February. Holding long.
