why do you care if the price drops over the next few weeks/months? I say let it. Gives me a chance to re-up my position. Long term this stock is going sky high. The way I see it, Netflix was trading over $300 at one time, Apple over $400, Google over $600... how many of those companies are curing diseases or giving blind people their sight back? The markets have never been asked to price a stock like this before. ACTC has an unimaginable ceiling between now and the next, say, 5 years. A price drop now isn't bad, it's an opportunity.
Yup. You are totally correct. They currently are not curing blindness. And I never actually said that either. I made some pretty obvious forward looking statements about them curing blindness, but again, to be clear, never said that's what they were currently doing. So ya, I do have a firm grasp on what ACT is currently doing.
But maybe think a step or two ahead. If they are improving failing eyesight, that's just a couple steps away from saying, gee, wonder what would happen if we did this to someone who was legally blind or couldn't see at all? Seems a lot of people here have a very narrow view of the world. Stop looking at things on a micro scale and try to see the big picture.
In the words of the great Rolling Stones:
Time is on my side.
p.s. I'm not your buddy, pal!
To be honest about it: There are some times when I almost feel that we should all (ok..those of us who do own it) just cause it to sell down...and, after driving the pps down...buy the heck out of it. ;).
Only problem is that timing is EVERYTHING...and news is only a button or teleprompter away.
SMASH BASHER is a known for ignoring the facts. He fights the trend, and therefore loses money daily, hanging on to actc. As you see by his posts, he has NOTHING constructive to add to the thread, long or short. Would you buy or hold based on this kind of intelligence?
Harry, weren't you the guy who was making a similar case for the Betamax back in the 1970s? I want my money back. Fortunately, with ACTC it's not too late to cut you losses before your investment follows a similar path.
"ACTC has an unimaginable ceiling between now and the next, say, 5 years."
For once, and honest statement by a pumper. However, i think you have learned too late,,,,,perhaps,,,,,depending on how much you've lost already.......that FIVE YEARS is the death of any investment.
ANY investment based on a 3-5 year timeline is almost guaranteed to lose you everything. Witness ACTC. The deep pockets, by definition, have to know a lot more than you or I about risky investing, and fda timelines, and whatever,,,,,,,it's not that they think actc could not succeed, it's just that they understand how long it takes,,,and that 5 years is ten investing lifetimes away. They can make millions, elsewhere, in that kind of time, and contrastly, they will lose almost everything during the same period, as all of the big money investors think the same.
That was a five star post and I gave you five stars, but the bashers one stared you.
It is nice to see someone who has done their homework. The future is uncharted, but if we can avoid the big rocks it will be a milestone for mankind. The bashers are pulling carts of millstones.
