This country was built by capitalists not socialists.

The Democrats/ Socialists hate, yes hate, the wealth producers and love the deadbeats, the blood suckers. Now the leeches (Democrats/Socialists) want to kill the goose that laid the golden egg. We'll be the workers' paradise, Cuba, in no time.

    Sentiment: Hold

    • Capitalism of today has nothing to do with the capitalism that was familiar to my father who immigrated from Greece and worked hard building railroads in the West and making cars for Ford until he retired. He was willing to sacrifice and didn't get married until he was 57 to start a family and give us a wonderful life.

Capitalism in my father's day allowed for market crashes to flush out the system. not put band aids on a sinking ship. Today, that capitalism would be watching in horror as our treasury indiscriminately prints money to give to the banks at 0% who are supposed to lend but instead buy bonds at 3.25% and pocket the profits (OUR money).

When my father got me in the stock market when I was 19 he taught me about investing in healthy companies with low debt and p/e ratios, and how the pps goes up like it's supposed to when the company is productive. That's true capitalism, not striving to be part of some hedge fund that, if big enough, will manipulate companies with naked shorting. Do you have any idea what a company like Bain Capital actually DOES to make its millions?

So, please, before you start another rant pick up a copy of Capitalism for Dummies and read something.
