Hey cut and paste Bear, here's some material about BUSH's housing initiatives for ya'

    May 17, 2002. Bush states:
"Freddie Mac will launch 25 initiatives to eliminate home ownership barriers. Under one of these consumers with POOR CREDIT will be able to get a mortgage with an interest rate that automatically goes down after a period of consistant payments. I'm serous about this, this is a very important initiative."
    September 24, 2008 Bush states:
"Financial assets related to home mortgages have lost value during the house decline, and the banks holding these assets have restricted credit. As a result, our entire economy is in danger.
I'm a strong believer in free enterprise, so my natural instinct is to oppose government intervention. I believe companies that make bad decisions should be allowed to go out of business".

OF COURSE his natural instincts were not that of a leader, but of a follower, so he bailed his mortgage gambling bank buddies out-result:banks got paid back their gambling debts, home owners and the AMERICAN PEOPLE and our economy got screwed.

OH GEE WHIZ, when you see the two quotes together, it's a borderline admission of guilt isn't it? Hey Beare, cut and paste away !!! I did a little of that myself!!! LOL.
