I looked over todays presentation, for those of you who don't know me. I have been invested to some extent here since late 2008. As always i am optimistic in the future of embryonic stem cell research and this companies trials. However, I find it a slap in the face to insult my intelligence and write that the company has an annual burn rate of 16 million. If you take a snapshot of 2008 - 2011 the average net loss was aprox. 50 million a year and actually increases yoy. The net loss in the first 9 months of 2012 was about 18 million ....so if ya wanna argue me and say operatings expense well yada yada..."nearly all hangover litigation" is also not exactly a shot in the arm for confidence...That being said .....To da MOOOOOOON
From Business week today-there's a detailed chart w/trends (2008-2011) no link, Goog
Year over year, Advanced Cell Technology Inc. has seen revenues fall from $725.0K to $506.4K. This along with an increase in SGA costs has led to a reduction in the bottom line from a loss of $54.4M to an even larger loss of $72.8M.
Hey Evil,, Moon trips indeed,,
Right now I'm not worried much, cause of the science,, it is what it is and its goodly,,
Been to any good concerts,,
Not sure if you are a Led Zep fan but that new Celebration Day DVD is a kick A*s*s DVD,, Went and watched some local boys 2 weekends ago to here some classcic rock,, they are no names but it was good and fun,, how the boy,,
so I guess that everyone is cool with a 16 million a year burn rate and don't feel as if the presentation was less than honest...if you can be straight about burn than should we distrust other information.
