Check out SRPT for an example of a good reverse split. They pulled off the split in a position of strength and the stock climbed and kept climbing. If or when ACTC pulls off a reverse split I just hope they wait until we are sitting in a good position. If they follow suit we will be in great shape.
Cantwin...I own SRPT, but that aside...our share structure will dictate many more shares o/s tha SRPT because of our starting point, over 2B. I prefer looking at SIRI who never did a stock split and have gone from .05 to over $3.00 with the right moves, mgmt and funding.
If management thought that we'd be generating a few billion in revenue anytime soon, I'm sure that there would be no talk of an RS. SIRI pulls in about $3 bn a year and with a subscription based business and doesn't have the cost structure that ACT will.
I agree, I would rather push ahead without a reverse split. I was just proving not all R/S are bad if the timing is right. The reverse split will happen sometime I'm just hoping Gary will wait it out as long as possible and time it perfect
