What is up with this now? Day trades selling off? Company selling to cover settlement costs? I guess I'll go take a nap, this was an exciting morning but the predictions of dilution seem to have outweighed positive sentiment over the end of litigation. Wake me in a few years.
Calm down. We long term investors have seen this over and over again. The Phase I trials are half way done and removal of the lawsuit hurdle are positives. The instant gratification people are causing the roller coaster but we will win out in the end. If you had bought at
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Yeah Keep, I'll stick around here for the Spring and Summer. It's nice here during those months anyway. They'll be working on the shore areas for most of the years so I'll go to the Delaware, a mile away and call it a day. It's always nice there.
Taking a nap or a at least a small break from the day to day price swings might be warranted, however, we could see some nice apphreciation this year if things go our way. We could, ofcouse, get a JV or multiple JV's. We could be fast tracked on our SMD trials. Platlets could bring in a whole new group of investors in March after out meeting with the FDA.
It a little cynical, but I dont think we will see a serious price jump until we see a path to revenue or a large cash infussion from a JV. It's all about forward earnings. The masses don't want to have to read the research, they just want to look at the bottom line to see how much money we have, and how much is coming in next quarter.
Jenny, you are correct. I don't think you are being cynical, I think it's realistic. Once I get over my deep seated need for instant gratification, I'll be back to reality. I really do feel that in time, we will see major increases in this stock price as well as major developments in ACTC's technologies.
This is not a one day event ... and with our enormous share count, it will take a lot of sustained good news to move this needle. All is never as it appears. Check out INO of late. Low .50s to over .70s ... slowly and quietly. A watched pot never boils!
Let's just be ecstatic over the market reaction at all. 15M traded this a.m. with an upside bias. THAT is all you need to see.
You're right Minn, one of my shortcomings is excitability and instant gratification. Once I calm down and return to a degree of sensibility, I'll be OK. Reading what you said actually helps me ido that. Thanks.
