Advanced Cell Technology Inc. Message Board

The AH sells are more than likely...

    ...Lincoln.

We have been discussing this on another board.

These after hour sells are not occurring after hours. As many have stated, they are just being reported late. Both trades the past 2 days have been between 2M-2.5M, which is almost the exact max amount (2.5M) for a regular Lincoln draw.

I have know way of confirming that this is what is happening, but I think it is likely.

I have read some posts here about these trades being very manipulative. I couldn't agree more. If you read the deal, Lincoln has a lot of flexibility in getting the best bang for their buck. Manipulative for sure, but the deal allows them to do it.

    • Is it just coincidence that a "settlement" was announced just a couple weeks ago. We all know that "settlement" means MONEY. Just shortly after the "settlement" was announced, we start seeing these huge blocks of stock being sold off in yes, AFTER HOURS. Some say "late" trading but that's irrelevant. Someone(insider) must be buying during the day with the knowledge that big sales will happen in after hours and they don't want to scare everyone away if the stock were to plummet because of these sales. Maybe Lincoln money is getting poured in during the day to offset the settlement withdrawals later? Hey, just a guess and guessing is what this blog is about, although there are those on here who come off with absolute certainty-you know the expression "never in doubt but rarely correct". The GOP montra. LOL. Now watch the attacks....purses thrown, heels broken off-it gets ugly. LOL.

So I guess Nasdaq is lying to us when it reports ACTC in after hour trades? I think not.

"Both trades the past 2 days have been between 2M-2.5M, which is almost the exact max amount (2.5M) for a regular Lincoln draw. "

Like you said there is no way of confirming this, so it's just conjecture, and nothing else. And I have no idea why Lincoln would be selling at this extremely low price, because they must have had a lot of faith in ACT to fund them $35M. So why would they be selling now? It dosen't make any sense to me, does it to you?
But this is why Warren Buffett says the small individual investor should stay out of stock picking, and instead invest periodically in an index fund, because essentially the idividual investor is a minnow swiming amongst sharks.

No the Nasdaq is not lying. That is how these types of trades are reported. Not so uncommon.

"Like you said there is no way of confirming this, so it's just conjecture, and nothing else."

In that case most everything that is discussed is conjecture is it not? I guess there is no reason to ever try and make sense of anything then.

Yes, it makes complete sense to me. Do you understand how this funding agreement works?

    • Thanks as always for your input Hammy. Now lets get some good news out there.
