Take a look at this MB. A good look. You always tell me that racism isn't more of a problem for the GOP than it is for the Dems. Are you sure you don't want to rethink that statement? Silence is apathy, apathy is approval.

    • I voted for the head nigincharge the first time, he sux as a black president, a half black president or a white president. No race card this jerks driving this country into the ground!

    • Blue, I really don't know what to make of our dysfunctional little clique here. I'm sure that some of these folks are hard core racists but I'm also pretty sure that these same people post under multiple ID's. Some posts I think are clearly designed just to antagonize and spur a reaction. I also know that criticizing these fools here is a waste of time since with the anonymity of the internet no one is concerned about being outed. In my real life I've done a good job promoting equality.

I doubt that this board is a good indicator of what goes on in broader society, but I do know that there is plenty of racism on the left. I see it in media and I see its manifestation in my town. It doesn't get as much attention as the skin head red necks do but its real and its there. If it is more of a problem for the GOP its but a matter of insignificant degree.

      • Theres, racism is everywhere, and by all races, but I don't know of any white person, no matter how poor, that would trade places with a black person. And I've asked this question of family members, when they start complaining about all the free stuff that blacks get from government programs; "Would you trade places with that black person?", and they've all said no. I even asked one family member if he'd trade places with Michael Jordon, and he said no. Now I think thats just plain crazy, but it shows the prevalence that race still plays in our society today, where you'd think that today we'd be more enlightened on these matters, guess not.

    • Blue, talk about apathy, In Febuary gasoline prices went up 8%, but the sales of large trucks and large SUV's increased, while the sale of economy cars decreased, logical, huh.
