Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) had some unusual praise for his brother George, commending the former president for "not having an opinion" over the last four years.
"He is like the most focused, disciplined guy. To imagine being a former president and not having an opinion on anything over the last four years, really?" Bush said during an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper. "I mean, to have that discipline, to be respectful of the president that hasn't been as respectful of him as he should have been? Man. I could have never done that."
Bush did remain relatively quiet during President Barack Obama's first term in office. He was notably absent in the months leading up to the 2012 election, choosing to skip the Republican National Convention.
Recently, the former president has made headlines not for his politics, but for his art. A self-portrait and paintings of dogs done by Bush were revealed when hackers gained access to several email accounts, including that of Bush's sister.
Jeb Bush commented on his brother's paintings, saying it "was a surprise" to him that Dubya had started to dabble in the arts.
"He's actually become a pretty good painter," Bush said on CNN. "He's doing it with a vengeance."
