The Yahoo censor algorithm, apparently finds Alec Baldwin's Tweets offensive enough that it wont let me post them here. Easy enough to Google them, but don't look to the mainstream media to find the story. If it was conservative or someone with a southern accent it would be the top story. The NYT is still running stories today about Paula Dean but nothing about Baldwin. No surprise here.
First – the Baldwin story has been on the ‘so called’ mainstream media websites.
Second –comparing Deen and Baldwin’s actions is comparing apples to oranges. Deen was sued, and the info came out on her. Baldwin responded in a nasty way AFTER his pregnant wife was attacked by a vile reporter, and the moron reporter got the story wrong as well.
Third – if you don’t like Baldwin, don’t buy the product he endorses or pay to see his movies.
On a personal note, the Deen thing has been blown completely out of proportion and her being dropped by those firms is knee jerk reactions by some people that apparently never in their lives have ever said or done anything wrong.
Flop - Am I being a bit of an instigator? For sure. But the mainstream TV and print media have not picked up the Baldwin story in any way near the same way they did Paula Dean. One made their comments years ago, the others days ago. There is a double standard
