Maurie Hill blogged and Advanced Cell as well as her vision are mentioned.
Maurie addressed her current vision, unchanged from a year ago. She promises to blog again and tell us what things she found out during her last checkup. She was decidedly upbeat and I look forward to more details about her experience in the Advanced Cell Technology trials and comments made to her at her last checkup. The website is AiSquared/Zoomed In. Her recent blog's title is Independence and Vision 2013.
"I know I haven’t been diligent about giving updates on my trial participation so far and I sincerely apologize. The study does not require testing between six months and a year, so there wasn’t much to tell. I unfortunately do not perceive a noticeable functional difference in my vision from one year ago. However, between the researchers at the VISIONS conference and my latest appointment, I learned more about this retinal degenerative disease and the knowledge that will be gained from this trial. As soon as I’m able to sort through my notes from all the conference sessions I attended, I will share what I know. But until then, you’ll have to settle for my general travel experiences."
