    O/T- Death Panels

Under Obamacare, IPAB- Independent Panel Advisory Board, a panel of 15 non me#$%$al folks that are appointed by Odumbo to determine what testing, me#$%$ines, care, that you may receive under the so called Affordable Health Care Act,, this panel, although they are not in the exam room with you and your doctor are making your life decisions AND Me#$%$aid, me#$%$are and all insurance companies follow suit,,
Let me tell you folks,, they have already started making your decisions for you as there are a host of testing, care and me#$%$ines that you CANNOT get now,, it is just unfkinbelievable,, it is so difficult to treat very sick patients now cause you cant get the testing to diagnose,, and guess what,, the patients don't sue the Advisory Board, but, the patients can still sue the docs,,
Folks, you have no idea what is coming and I am here to tell you that this is the biggest cluster fk that the govt ever produced and that arrogant bast*ard Odumbo will not budge, knowing all well that this is going to hurt and kill people for lack of care,, Obamacare does not have one gaddam thing to do for patient care,,
And those who would want and try to refute what I'm telling are mis-informed and full of shiet,, I do this every day of my life and am telling you what is coming,, Oh yeas, and also,, if the #$%$ goes against this panel, the doc will be fined and or imprisoned or both,, why do think so many of us are quiting,, Go ACTC, I want the hell out of me#$%$ine in this country,, I never thought I would ever hear myself say that,, SAD for America,,

      • PASSIVE RESISTANCE WON’T KILL OBAMACARE EITHER
BARBARA SHELLY | The Kansas City Star

Obamacare haters first looked to the U.S. Supreme Court to kill health care reform. When that didn’t work, they fixed their hopes on Mitt Romney’s election and a Republican takeover of the U.S. Senate. Foiled again.

OPPONENTS IN WASHINGTON AND STATE LEGISLATURES ARE NOW TURNING TO PASSIVE RESISTANCE. If you follow the legislatures in Missouri and Kansas you see how it works. REFUSE TO SET UP A STATE INSURANCE EXCHANGE. TURN DOWN AN OPPORTUNITY TO REFORM MEDICAID AND GET MORE PEOPLE INTO HEALTH INSURANCE. CHEER CONGRESS AS IT DENIES FEDERAL AGENCIES THE FUNDS NEEDED TO GET THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT UP AND RUNNING.

Make the rollout as bumpy as possible. And when you detect a stumble, declare the entire law a failure.

THERE’S JUST ONE PROBLEM WITH THIS SELF-FULFILLING PROPHECY. FOR CONSUMERS, THE LAW IS ACTUALLY WORKING VERY WELL.

Insurers can no longer not cover a child with a pre-existing condition, and that protection will apply to adults in 2014. Lifetime limits on coverage have been banned. At least 80 percent of what consumers pay in insurance premiums must be spent on medical care. New insurance plans must pay for checkups and preventive measures without co-pays or deductibles. Health plans are easier to read and understand.

A tracking service compiled by the Henry G. Kaiser Family Foundation shows that, of 57 provisions scheduled to be carried out by the end of 2012, all but two are in place, and the provisions for this year are rolling out on schedule.

The biggest, trickiest parts of the law are yet to come, however, and the efforts to obstruct are making a mark. Congress didn’t expect 33 states to default to a federally run insurance marketplace. Getting the exchanges set up and ready for the start of open enrollment on Oct. 1 is looking like a titanic task, made harder by Congress’ refusal to allocate sufficient funds to educate consumers on how to use the new system.

It also appears more than half the states won’t expand Medicaid eligibility this year, despite the extraordinary flexibility from President Barack Obama’s administration in allowing states to craft their own their own models.

That will prevent the Affordable Care Act from achieving its coverage goals, no doubt to the glee of the Republican governors and lawmakers who refused to cover more people. BUT THOSE SAME OBSTRUCTIONISTS WILL HAVE TO EXPLAIN WHY HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS STILL CAN’T HAVE ACCESS TO A DOCTOR, AND WHY HOSPITALS REMAINED BURDENED WITH UNINSURED PATIENTS, WHEN FEDERAL MONEY IS AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE THEM WITH COVERAGE.

AS IT HAS FROM THE BEGINNING, THE CRIPPLING OF OBAMACARE RELIES ON OMISSION AND DISTORTION.

OPPONENTS SOMBERLY RECITE EVERY REPORT OF ANTICIPATED INSURANCE RATE INCREASES, WITHOUT NOTING THAT THE LAW CALLS FOR SUBSIDIES TO OFFSET THOSE HIKES.

THEY REPEAT AD NAUSEUM A PROJECTION FROM THE CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET OFFICE THAT THE HEALTH CARE LAW COULD RESULT IN AS MANY AS 800,000 AMERICANS BEING UNEMPLOYED, NOT MENTIONING THAT THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE THE CBO EXPECTS TO RETIRE VOLUNTARILY ONCE THEY NO LONGER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SPENDING ALL OF THEIR RETIREMENT SAVINGS ON EXORBITANT HEALTH CARE COSTS.

OBAMACARE HATERS ARE TOO FIXATED ON THEIR CAUSE TO REALIZE IT IS DOOMED. THE CONSUMER PROTECTIONS ALREADY IN PLACE ARE POPULAR, EVEN IF THE LAW ITSELF ISN’T. HAVING COME THIS FAR, WE CAN’T GO BACK TO THE OLD WAY, IN WHICH THE ONLY REAL GUARANTEE OF BEING ABLE TO AFFORD HEALTH CARE WAS TO NEVER, EVER GET SICK.

The jalopy called health care reform needs money for parts and is carrying too much excess baggage. But it will continue to lurch forward, the journey made easier as the forecast disaster fails to materialize. Less

    • ObamaCare ‘death panel’ faces growing opposition from Democrats

By Elise Viebeck - 08/08/13 05:00 AM ET

ObamaCare’s cost-cutting board — memorably called a “death panel” by Sarah Palin — is facing growing opposition from Democrats who say it will harm people on Medicare.

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean drew attention to the board designed to limit Medicare cost growth when he called for its repeal in an op-ed late last month.

Dean was quickly criticized by supporters of the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), who noted his ties to the healthcare industry as an adviser to a major D.C. lobbying firm.

But the former Vermont governor is not the only Democrat looking to kill the panel.

A wave of vulnerable Democrats over the past three months has signed on to bills repealing the board’s powers, including Sen. Mark Pryor (Ark.) and Reps. Ron Barber (Ariz.), Ann Kirkpatrick (Ariz.), Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.) and Elizabeth Esty (Conn.).

Even that nut Howard Dean is against it. I wonder what the loons have to say about that?

    • People should take good care of their OWN health, not eat any damn thing they can stuff into their "pie holes" they see advertised on TV, billboards, etc.! Especially donuts, fast food burgers, ice cream (from factory cows), french fries & potato chips, most "stupid" market foods!
