O/T- A Line In The Sand

Well,, looks like the US is going to start shootin soon and the President has painted us in a corner to where we have to do something to save face,, looks like Assad has removed all the important stuff that might get blown up because we are giving the details of the attacks,, I'm not sure what the hell kind of strategy that is,, instead, Assad has put prisoners as human shields in the way of the potential bombs, so, people are going to get killed, again to save face, but,, you must also argue that you cannot let some nut that has most of the chemical weapons in the world, use them,, I fear this little pin pri*ck that we are about to do is just going to pi*s*s off the whole dam region and this wont stop here,,

    • these are the same people that danced in the streets after 911. stay out

    • Doc, the Middle Eastern countries have been ruled by brutal, murdering dictators for thousands of years. It is a way of life for them. I don't believe anything will change this. I think the slaughter of innocent civilians is horrible but if we take out Assad some other murdering a:s:shole will take his place. Nothing has changed in Iraq, Afghanistan or Libya. Saudi Arabia is just as brutal and we love them. Iran slaughtered Baha'is by the hundreds and nobody seemed to care.

I think we need to let these Islamic a:s:wipes fester in their own juices. No matter what we do to help them they will always hate us. It is a premise of their brutal religion to hate infidels.

      Sentiment: Sell

    • Doc, if we bomb Syria and take Assad out, where does that leave us? We'll have to give them billions to rebuild, and since Syria is predominantly Sunni Muslim, they'll probably elect a Muslim to lead them, and we know these folks hate us and our way of life, so I'm personally against having our armed forces involved in their civil war. Yes, there's are atrocites happening in Syria, but over 600,000 died in our own civil war from 1861 -1865, and did Syria help us(I'm being somewhat facetious folks)? I think not!

    • It's no longer just about Syria. Something greater is at stake. Seems like he failed in the early test.

"Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy," said Biden to a roomful of donors. "The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America."

"Remember I said it standing here, if you don't remember anything else I said," Biden continued. "Watch, we're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.

"I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's going happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate."

    • You must argue that you cannot let some nut that has most of the chemical weapons in the world, use them,,
      ==================================================================

Wrong Craig they have the most chemical weapons in the east you know the region of the world where mostly all the terrorists live.get you facts straight before you pop off that mouth again...YOU GOT THAT?

      Joey.........ROTFLMAO......talk about stupidity........lordy lordy

    • This attack will likely not do didly shiet to deter Assad from shootin off more of those dam chemical bombs and maybe even shoot towards Israel,,
Where is the outrage from the left on all this,, I've not seen one of you guys say a dam thing about us getting into potential WW3,,

        'DEAD WRONG'

David Koch: Attacking Syria Would Be 'Dead Wrong'

The Huffington Post | Paige Lavender | 08/31/2013

Billioniaire David Koch weighed in on the situation in Syria on Friday, saying it would be "dead wrong" for the United States to take military action.

In an interview with Yahoo! News' Chris Moody, Koch, a prominent backer of conservatives, compared a potential attack on Syria to "putting your head into a hornet's nest."

“You’re going to get shot at from all directions," Koch said. "There’s all this talk about attacking the bad guys in Syria, but whom do you attack? Where do you find the people who put these chemical weapons together, this poisonous gas? To me it’s an impossibility, and we’re just going to generate a huge increase in the hostility to the United States in my opinion.”

Koch's not the only conservative to speak out on the crisis in Syria. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) said President Barack Obama should "let Allah sort it out" in a Facebook post on Friday.

Obama announced Saturday he has decided the United States should take military action in Syria, and that he will seek authorization from Congress to do so.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • In all this turmoil Obama decided to go golfing. Guess there are more pressing things than work.... We have had the wool pulled over our eyes.

      • C the left cannot bring themselves to cc0riticize their leader. As I said earlier on, they have no free thought and would follow him through the gates of hell which could possibly happen.

      • Doc, you won't hear a thing from the hypocrite knee pad wearers.

        Sentiment: Sell
