Now, I just read is injecting ONE MILLION cells in their clinical trial for macular degeneration. Will they beat acts to the finish line? What does this mean to ACTC?

    • When you read the Enquirer it only seems like they're doing the same thing but when you read the actual PR, you know it's different.

NEWARK, Calif., Sept. 12, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- StemCells, Inc. (STEM) today announced dosing of the first high-dose patient in the Company's Phase I/II clinical trial in dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The patient, the fifth overall in the 16-patient trial, was transplanted yesterday with one million HuCNS-SC(R) cells (purified human neural stem cells). The first four patients each received a dose of 200,000 cells. An independent Data Safety Monitoring Committee conducted a review of the trial data to date, and found no safety issues to preclude the trial from proceeding to the high dose.

      PS ACTC uses HESC.

      • Will theirs work better than ours, that is the question. Will they finish and announce their results before ACTC? Given this moronic CEO we have they probably will. He is the worst thing that has ever happened to this company. He was supposed to just stand in until they found a professional but our muttering, mumbling and cheating board member who is being investigated by the SEC got himself the job and he has been a disaster.
