Yep, they just keep losing and losing and losing and losing, sinking further into oblivion and irrelevance and yet all they can do is make up names like Marxism, socialism or tell us it's now doomsday. Hey GOP CONS, any FRESH ideas? Rather than attacking the winners because you have a vat of sour grapes on your hands, why don't you try some creative ideas to help create jobs and move this country forward. Oh that's right, you can't do any of that, all you know is bullying and lying about the winners.
Danny, you have it all wrong. The Tea Party did not lose the Virginia election. In fact, they would have won it if the GOP would have given them support, which they didn't The race was very close.. This is from somebody closer to the situation then you are. The RINOs control the GOP and have shunned the conservative side in spite of the fact the conservatives won back the House for them in 2010. This GOP stupidity does not bode well for the GOP in upcoming elections if they do not come to their senses. This intra-party split is due simply due to a difference in philosophies. This will encourage all left wing Democrats who otherwise have become extremely vulnerable. Happy times for you..........sad times for the nation. Just saying because I don't think you realize the situation. Elk has been following it.
DEMS SET FOR SWEEP IN VIRGINIA
Mark Obenshain Concedes Virginia Attorney General's Race
The Huffington Post | By Luke Johnson | 12/18/2013
State Sen. Mark Obenshain (R-Harrisonburg) conceded the Virginia attorney general's race Wednesday to State Sen. Mark Herring (D-Loudon), after the recount Obenshain called for caused the narrow margin he was trailing by to increase.
"Today is not the time to contest the process," Obenshain said at a press conference in Richmond. "As we near the conclusion, Mark Herring will be ahead."
Obenshain asked for a government-funded recount under state law after the state Board Of Elections certified Herring had a 165-vote lead. The recount widened Herring's lead to over 800 votes.
With a Herring victory, Democrats will hold the top three statewide offices in Virginia, which has not happened since 1989.

Right, dickw, the Tea Party and RWNJs may have kept the Repubs from taking control of the Senate in 2012 but in this election the RINOs would no longer support them even though Cuccinelli might have won VA with the same support McDonnell had gotten. Clearly the Tea Party and RWNJs must now make the break and set out on their own to establish a party that really is Right Wing and ideologically pure.

Dickw - you'd think the Dems could make hay out of this, but the sad truth is that they are dysfunctional themselves. There is too much infighting. Both parties have engaged in reckless spending in their own way and are much closer aligned via their actions and not by what they say then is portrayed in the news. Technically, if you got a bunch of middle or centrist folks from the GOP and Dem side to work together, than they could get stuff done and leave the two extremes of RWNJs & ultra libs behind.
