OT: JEB BUSH WILL BRING APOCALYPSE IF HE WINS WHITE HOUSE IN 2016

As I pointed out previously, dickw:

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

JEB BUSH WILL BRING APOCALYPSE IF HE WINS WHITE HOUSE IN 2016

Michael Cantrell | Guardian Liberty Voice | April 7, 2014.

Jeb Bush, if he decides to run for president in 2016, and by some horrific nightmare, wins the White House, will bring about the apocalypse that will officially make America a footnote in history books that chronicle once great civilizations. This may sound a bit dramatic, but the truth of the matter is that the United States will not survive another Bush presidency. Many conservatives will bristle, arch their backs, pop out the claws, and start hissing at the mention of such a statement, but the fact is the Bush family are not true liberty-minded folks, but rather big government Progressives wearing the disguise of freedom loving Republicans.

Before examining Jeb Bush’s policy positions, which should strike terror into the minds of anyone who wants to see America survive another century, one should look at the policies of his brother, former President George W. Bush. While many on the right, especially warhawks, like to reflect on fond memories of President Bush, the truth is he did much more to expand the scope and power of the federal government than he did to keep it bound in its constitutional limits. He helped create and sign into law the Patriot Act, which has led to the civil liberties of citizens being violated at an alarming rate, and paved the way for the current NSA spying program, which has trampled over the Fourth Amendment. This is the same president who stated that in order to save the free market system, he needed to violate free market principles. This is an extremely illogical line of reasoning, and it does not take an ivy league education to see that this does not make sense.

The reason for bringing this up is because the policies of Jeb Bush, the man who may single-handedly bring about the apocalypse if he makes a bid for the White House in 2016, are similar to those of his brother. One good example of these similarities is education. George W. Bush was a champion of the No Child Left Behind law, which provided local schools with a greater level of control over how funds were spent, depending on how children in the schools performed on standardized tests. Jeb Bush is a huge supporter of Common Core, which also centers around national standards for students. Common Core was forced on states by President Obama, who told state governments that they could not receive funding from the 2009 education stimulus package unless they adopted Common Core standards. As one can see, the two bills were very similar in scope, proving that both of the Bush men are Progressives, looking to expand the size and scope of government.

In a recent interview, Bush stated that he was going to hold off on making a decision on running for president until the end of the year. A lot of establishment insiders in the Republican Party have started campaigns to make Jeb Bush a force to be reckoned with in the 2016 race. If he decides to run, those who cherish freedom and liberty need to oppose Bush at every possible turn. This means throwing support behind candidates like Sen. Rand Paul from Kentucky, or someone who is similarly principled, in order to prevent him from winning the nomination and putting the final nail in the coffin for the United States.

The truth of the matter is that the Progressive policies of George W. Bush and President Obama do not work. They have failed to provide economic stimulation and job growth, and they have failed to make the education system more efficient. These individuals and their policies have not protected civil liberties, but have sought new ways to circumvent the Constitution, treating the American people like common criminals. It is time for something new, something like a return to the policies of the Founding Fathers who established this great nation. Men like Jeb Bush will not be a champion for freedom, but will call for more government interference, bringing down the apocalypse that will ravage and destroy what is left of the principles that made America great, which is why, if he should choose to run, his campaign should be opposed with zeal and vigor.

So true, uphill. But that so generous, caring gesture resulted because George W was a Compassionate Conservative and allowed our RWNJs to realize that meant George W was really a Communist, just like his brother Jeb now unashamedly pointing out the love and family values many immigrants hold. OMG, how bad might those Bush's get if the RWNJs allow Jeb to get the nomination?

      • ALLEN WEST THREATENS TO JOIN THIRD PARTY OVER JEB BUSH'S 'ACT OF LOVE' IMMIGRATION REMARKS

Brian Tashman on Wednesday, 4/9/2014 2:00 pm

Speaking with conservative talk show host Janet Mefferd yesterday, former congressman Allen West said he may consider joining a third party over the issue of immigration reform.

After Mefferd asked West whether he would consider joining a third party, the one-term Florida congressman lashed out at his home state’s former governor Jeb Bush for stating in an interview that immigrants who entered the country illegally did so as an “act of love” for their families.

“I believe that when we get to the point when the parties have failed the American people, absolutely,” West said. “THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE GETTING FED UP WITH WHAT THEY SEE AND WHAT THEY HEAR EACH AND EVERY DAY. CASE IN POINT, LOOK AT OUR FORMER GOVERNOR OF FLORIDA DOWN HERE, JEB BUSH WHO JUST CAME OUT AND SAID ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS AN ACT OF LOVE. AN ACT OF LOVE IS TO TAKE CARE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT, THEIR WAGES ARE BEING DEPRESSED; THEY DON’T NEED TO BE TOLD, ‘HEY YOU NEED TO STEP OUT OF LINE AND WE’RE GOING TO FAST-TRACK THESE PEOPLE.’”

“ONE SIDE WANTS VOTES, THE OTHER SIDE WANTS CHEAP LABOR,” he added.

      • Ted Cruz nails Communist Jeb Bush:

GOP LATINO STRATEGIES CLASH: SEN. TED CRUZ DISSES JEB BUSH’S ‘IMMIGRATION FOR LOVE’ MEME

        By Juan Cole | truthdig | Apr 8, 2014

Sen. Ted Cruz criticized Jeb Bush for appearing to downplay the rule of law in arguing that undocumented immigration to the US is a crime of passion, resorted to out of an abundance of love for families in straitened circumstances. Cruz said that such an argument injures the sovereignty of the US and ignores the exploitation that undocumented workers are subjected to by coyotes or unscrupulous people-smugglers. Cruz implied that “Washington elites” feel Bush and some other candidates “won’t rock the boat.”

What is really going on here? The fact is that Latinos are now such a big part of the American electorate (10%) that no one can be president who does not get at least 44% of their votes. Remember that the two parties are typically relatively close in the popular vote, so it is 51% to 49% to win. A majority of Latinos can put the candidate over the top. Likewise, Latinos swung Nevada, Colorado and Florida to Barack Obama in 2012.

BUT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS BECOME THE PARTY OF ANGRY WHITE MEN AND WHITE EVANGELICALS, WHO DO NOT WANT IMMIGRATION REFORM AND FEAR THEIR JOBS WILL BE TAKEN BY IMMIGRANTS OR THAT THE LATTER WILL MENACE THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS WITH CRIME, OR THAT THEIR “VALUES” ARE THREATENED BY ALIEN IMMIGRANTS (I.E. IN THE LATTER CASE, THEY ARE RACISTS). ONLY 42% OF CONSERVATIVES SUPPORT A PATH TO CITIZENSHIP FOR UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS IN THE US, AND ONLY 51% OF WHITES SUPPORT THAT IDEA. THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS LARGELY “WHITE” IN ITS BASE OF SUPPORT.

In short, A CANDIDATE WHO CAN WIN THE GOP PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES WILL FIND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO WIN THE GENERAL ELECTION. JEB BUSH AND HIS ADVISERS ARE COUNTING ON HIS DYNASTIC APPEAL TO GET HIM THROUGH THE PRIMARIES IF HE RUNS, AND HE IS HOPING HE CAN ATTRACT THE KIND OF LATINO VOTE HIS BROTHER GEORGE W. DID (44%, THE MAGIC NUMBER) IN THE GENERAL ELECTION. JEB BUSH’S WIFE IS OF CUBAN HERITAGE.

Cruz may hope that his Cuban heritage will give him appeal to Latinos even if he opposes immigration reform, so he is free to try to appeal to the angry white men inside the party. I doubt, however, that most Mexican-Americans or other Latino groups will vote for a Cuban-American who has a hard line against immigration reform. That is, class may well trump simple ethnicity within the Latino bloc.

Not so fast Yahoo I believe the tactic with supporting Hispanics is a strategic move with Jeb's statements they do obtain a significant voting number more so than Africans do across the country. The elderly racist blacks are dieing off faster than the Whites in the south on average Whites out live blacks by 15 years these new Millennials have screwed themselves bigtime and now realize what a huge mistake they made with voting for Obama 2016 will be a cake walk for the Conservatives that show sympathy for minorities.

Great point, Yahoo. Let's go back to Bush-Cheney and their fully documented mountain of lies used by them them to launch two useless and tragic wars at a human cost of over 5,000 of our young soldiers dead (not counting 3,000 of our own civilians dead on 9/11 because Bush, Cheney, Rice, etc., vacationed and napped through innumerable warnings about al qaeda) and over 50,000 wounded (producing the highest rate of para and quadriplegics of any war in history) at an ultimate cost of over $4Trillion (funded off the books) while taking proud credit for cutting taxes while giving Big Pharma a big $1Trillion sweetheart kiss all of which was followed by a near total melt down of the world financial system resulting in a severe and very harmful recession worse than anything since The Great Depression.

    • No idea what your point is here Elk. Some loon afraid of a moderate Republican president. Funny he should bring up an education bill as his example - certainly evidence of the the last throes of great civilizations. The question on big government is a relative on. Ya get less growth with a republican then you do a democrat.

    • Now that is a light easy read.... So you would still prefer Obammy do a third term?
