Granted, there aren't a ton of shares being traded on a daily basis, but i'm still pretty surprised at the low chatter on this board. Majesco is an interesting company in rebound. I'm bullish personally, given the attention they've shown nintendo's platforms, but i would also understand the bear's perspective. I'm just amazed that it's so quiet in here...pretty much every other Yahoo Finance message board is loaded with ass-hattery coming from both sides, making ridiculous claims, and of course - personal attacks. Then there's the racism, bigotry, and homophobic statements that you have to sift through to get any reasonable insight.
...maybe i shouldn't be complaining about this. Maybe i should just hang out in the blissful silence and stillness that is the COOL message board.
it's a reasonable concern...but interesting that Cooking Mama 2 came to Majesco, rather than any of the other suitors. This is a company at the front end of what could be a full-on turn-around. This holiday season could be an incredible boon, considering the Wii/DS focus.
Anyway...at least you didn't call me names, tell me i'm stupid, or blather on and on about non-relevant topics. I appreciate that (though i would still like to see more chatter on the board).
Management scares me. I have a feeling they do games like Cooking Mama just to make money so they can do what they really want: make games for older audiences.
Take a look at their infomercial for cooking mama: http://www.cookingmamacookoff.com/ (click infomercial). It is low budget and looks like it's run by hip-hop lean like a cholo fans. These aren't the people that look professional.
I was invested shortly and the stock does nothing besides go up and down and nowhere. Very frustrating because from the outside it looks like they are doing positive steps, but once they make enough it looks like they would just go back to their old ways: over budget games for high-school teens that can't afford video games.
