I have traded in and out of SINA over the past few months, I have owned it at $54 and watched it drop to $48, sold at $60 and watched it go to $78 (a $30 jump in a few weeks). Then watched it drop to $60, buying and selling along the way, then last week shooting back into the mid 70's. Seriously , how crazy is this stock? On one hand I'm happy I'm out but we all know SINA can jump $10 in a few days. Plus I'm not doing good with any stocks since I sold SINA on Friday
Sina is not a crazy stock. It just made it out of its IPO stage. Its good that it showed a great bull run last year, reaching $147.00 in several months. Then it slowly trickled down to 85 in the early fall mid-late 3qtr. Before pitfalling where it made its debut as an IPO at 44-50 range. The 30 point spike since then to 76-78 was a great thing, and also it held on to its earnings for a few days with an increase of 4-5% after that. This stock is showing its going to be a beast be reckened with. By May we'll be at 105-110. And have long positions and trade on shorts weekly.
I've been trading Sina the entire time and been winning.
yeah Open table is killing me, bought at 48. I took hefty loss on Sohu becasue they suck, but I swaped to yandex and mako surgical for a punchers chance. Yandex is move up for me to makeup some losses.
