So STS, given that no one knows for certain, If you had to guess would you go with a person's guestimate that had very little experience (and I am guessing myself here - please speak up if you have depth of experience in Arb situations) or a person with 30+ years of experience and is still actively engaged? I know what my answer is, but what is yours? It's just logical that the experienced person with the fabulous track record wins the vote hands down. Let me know if you have something else to consider that I've missed. I am not trying to cut you down - just look at this logically. KS
You see, the thing is, Son, that those so-called "guesses" of mine turn out to be correct around 75% of the time. Now, that might not work for hyper-leveraged rock star swing traders, but for an unleveraged simpleton amateur like me, it works just fine.
wow. you must have not met many people....LOL
whatever the case may be - simply because people don't trade the same way YOU do, doesn't make their style any worse than yours. its simply different. to think so is the sure sign of an amateur.
good luck, anyway.
keep waiting patiently. you will be rewarded.
i make $ on small movements. that is why activity is good for short term horizon traders. i have no super secret process for picking stocks. no one does. what i do have are indicators and good money management rules. works for ME.
no more time to defend trading vs. buy-and-hold (or whatever it's called these days...LOL), gotta go trade. bye! :)
have a SUPER day!!
Except the heavy weather flags with the big black boxes on them - we like to stay away from those flags. Lind: do you think the Arbs control the shares now? What makes you say that - was something published or does your experience in such matters tell you that is so? KS
Quikfeat, Do the stock volumes support the flag and b bands patterns? I think you mentioned you bought some call options yesterday. Do you also look at options open interest and volumes to support the stock chart patterns?
