I have been to 3 Big Lots and they were all the same.
1 Cashier (many people get disgusted and walk out (I'm sure never to come back again.)
1 Stocker (when you ask them where an item is, they look at you like your from Mars,)
2 Very young Males to take out heavy Items like furniture to a vehicle.
Cheap, cheesy stuff isn't a great deal, especially if you have to stand in line for ten minutes to pay for it. Employees are overworked meaning they aren't quick to help if you 'interrupt' them in their work. The cold, icy stares aren't worth it if you don't save money on junk made for the price.
It often seems as if it would be easier to lift small items than to pay for them. Lines at BIG are often long meaning it's likely nobody would be available to witness a small theft much less apprehend someone. Bad for shoppers but great for shoplifters. I wonder what the shrink rate is like at BIG stores?
