65 cent per share haircut in NAV!

Holy ....! I can't believe how this company is incapable of making any progress. I guess this should have been expected, the way the stock price has acted. The annual letter to shareholders is up on the website, and it is just a looooooong multifaceted excuse for failure to produce value. I especially liked the bit about how their portfolio companies are deciding not to IPO and remain private.

Well, that's just great news for shareholders of TINY, isn't it?

I think the J-curve they go on about actually refers to the fishook used to reel in some more public shareholder "fish".

Have you noticed the shareprice of CREE lately? They are going great guns. What the heck happened to Bridgelux?

I'm going to take a look at the new10K and see if there is anything worthwhile in there.

    • They keep talking about managing other corporations nanotech development money. Why ? They have been a consistent failure in finding capital to bring their portfolio companies to success. Why would any corp. hire them ? They can identify good ventures so can I, but they are a Venture Capital company that can't manage their capital. Spread too thin, unrealistic ideas of the market place, and using the stock as an employee ATM is killing the stock and the company. The special sauce is how you apply your capital. That determines success and failure.
