Hi all just talking trash under diff handles but on this board I like to express realities

If U have not heard Russia has pulled out of the NPT (non prolification treaty)with NATO FOR SECURITY REASONS SO THEY SAY. This treaty was a landmark international treaty whose objective was to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and weapons technology, to promote co-operation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy and to further the goal of achieving nuclear disarmament and general and complete disarmament. The Treaty represents the only binding commitment in a multilateral treaty to the goal of disarmament by the nuclear-weapon States. Opened for signature in 1968, the Treaty entered into force in 1970. A total of 187 parties have joined the Treaty, including the five nuclear-weapon States.

The arms race has started again incognido, Europe and USA vs. Russia and it's allies. One prominent ally which is the engine for most economic advancements, China.

A Journel, The Awake of Aug 22,1999 pp. 7-8 The Nuclear ThreatFar From Over ***Reported the fallowing a few years back.

"Reports Asiaweek: Nuclear proliferation experts still believe that the real threat comes from the growing number of countries whose leaders would like to have their finger on the nuclear trigger. Some observers feel that the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty will simply not be able to stop governments that are determined, despite penalties, to get the technology and materials they need to go nuclear on the sly. James Clapper, director of the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, predicted: By the turn of the century we could see numerous countries with the capability to mate a [chemical, biological, or nuclear] warhead with an indigenously produced missile.

And so here we are. Oh yes 14,000 on the DJIA is close but so is another ominous event.

    • so why should I care? the market doesn't ALL TIME HIGHS!
