Pay your cable bill with gold?
If you had bought gold a year ago and sold it today you could pay your cable bill and keep a substantial chunk if not all of your original investment.
Instead of the question ever try paying your cable bill with gold? a more appropriate question is ever tried paying for inflated goods with last years dollars?
People who own gold don't have to worry as much about that problem. I have made many many poor investments but gold was not one of them. It has treated me very well.
