From Bloomberg news: march17, by Claudia Carpenter: "Oil unlikely to weaken supporting biofuels, former ceo of BP says", goes on to quote "Biofuels have the potential to play a critical long-term role in the global energy mix.", Interesting comment considering BP is the latest oil company to enter into plans for ethanol production. If i remember correctly BP is the oil company going to build an ethanol plant. The only other oil companies that i think have ethanol production are Hse.to and I think vlo the refiner is buying some ethanol plants. As the comments refer to biofuel i imagine it applies to bio diesel as well as ethanol.
