I'd really go nuts if I let the pro's lose my money!
NLC is history, as was Betamax. There maybe a small market for it but technology is advancing too fast. NLC had their opportunity but it was missed. Bad timing. MOT may save the product but it will become a MOT product.
Speaking of which, I like most, had the opportunity to make a killing on this stock during the bubble but kept holding on. Not for any good financial reasons, as you well know, their balance sheet was never good. Plain old greed.
That's why 95% of my investments are in mutual funds and I leave the investing decisions to the pro's. Not that they did much better recently.
You must be a finacial wizard... Money Play fund...???
Not me, I can't aford stocks other than the paper towels I take from work... (shhh...)
when nlc offered me some stock(toliet paper) I saw a loser the first day(toliet paper)...
I guess I'm not as fortunate as you to lose a couple of grand from any play money fund...!!!
Better be good to nlc and Me or I'll call my sister on you...
nlc, really has it together now!
MOT shareholder or not it doesn't matter. The fact is I hold NXTV shares and I am gathering all the info I can on how the reappraisal is going to work. I don't want to get in to a situation where the Lawyers take part of the gains I already have. I appreciate JKWISC professional post of information on this subject. If others have intelligence to add to it then let them and lets get the questions and solution out on the board for others to read.
This also helps JKWISC in getting others added to his e-mail. I am on this list and appreciate his research and time he has done. I understand your point but your rhetoric in the previous post is not welcome and hinders more than aids. Wondering if you need a bar of soap to clean that mouth of yours?
Bailed. Who bailed? I still own all of my NXTV stock.
As to retiring early I wish you luck. Hopefully you don't have too many NXTV's in that little portfolio of yours. Otherwise you'll be back to work. I'll take a number 1, supersized please.
