Associated Press and Andy Kilpatrick, who wrote The Story of Warren Buffet, reported on Berkshire Hathaway's 45% profit jump today and said "he was impressed with the report because for the first time in several years, it looks like all parts of Berkshire are performing well, and it looks like the 82-year-old Buffett is doing well after a prostate cancer scare last year." Sounds like a perfect investor for OPK... I wonder if Buffett knows Frost.
I will call the Berkshire Hathaway corporate offices Monday morning. It never hurts to ask. Reuters released a letter today that says, 'Buffett: On the hunt for more acquisitions.' Which I'm sure means he's hungry for good investments as well. You never know, Frost and Buffett may work out a creative deal or Buffett may just pick up shares on the open market. The options are endless if Buffett wants to get involved. And Buffett is very active in the health care, pharmaceutical and medical device market.
