and asked about the test (live in Europe). It's given a lot because most men going there already have slightly elevated psa markers. Very accurate and simple. Cost 180 pounds for individual, but lot of corporations pay for their employees to get tested.
Angiella, I for one think it is awesome that you took the time to make that call. I have a dozen questions that I never asked them because I never called. Like is insurance over there likely to kick in any time, which would be BIG. I should have emailed them my list of questions at their web site. I could have posed as a SA reporter, lol.
burnaka, everyone over there does have National Health, BUT, International Health Technology has its own, private clinics so think individuals/corporations have to pay. Also, they have clinics all over the UK. If you look at healthscreenuk website it gives a map of all of them. According to website there are more clinics than on the map, as they have a "growing network." They are also planning to expand into EU.
I had posted the phone number about two months ago but had no takers. Guess they wouldn't give you any more detail than " it's given a lot" The only definitive info I found was that hpq employees about 2k had the test the first two weeks of availability, 7 tested positive for PC.
