Sometimes scratching ones head is a natural response to how some people invest. By that I mean

I lost over 1.80 by not investing here. Saw this at about 2.00. The one attraction was insider buying. That is NO REASON to invest. Over the next 18 months I followed the company, the CEO, the strategy, and when I saw a two year time frame for possible product launch bought in, leaving thousands on the table. However, a start up, even with Frost could fail, so waiting, and because of my cautious approach this seemed warranted. The product launch never happened, the time frame changed, so I will hold no less than one more year.

So I scratch my head. Why did you get in??? Cramer, Frost, what is your reason? From some of the reoccurring questions I wonder HOW MANY here have a clue on the pipeline. IN FROST WE TRUST is no reason to lay your money down.

    • Combination of reasons for me:
Frost's expertise and past experience/history of taking small pharma companies and developing or selling them off for nice premiums to larger companies.
The products they are developing- the diagnostic products are fantastic- more accurate, faster results, and all of which should be less costly (which is big given the pricing constraints the medical industry will be facing with increasing regulation). This in conjunction with some of their therapeutics offers a huge revenue potential for OPKO.
And yes- Frost's insider buying- when someone is willing to invest time and time again- it shows the confidence level he has to execute and bring OPKO forward to a major player.

All IMHO- good luck to all.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • The man has a history of building businesses so you are investing with someone who has been there and done that. Notice how his people follow him company to company, there is a reason for that. Of course this
is no guarantee that OPK will succeed but history has a way of repeating itself. This company is being positioned for success, huge success, this point of care test is going to be the game changer.

    • Had TWO prostate biopsies. Worst experience of my life. First one got infected--went 3 months unable to sit down. Horrible. 2nd one not so bad but horrible none the less. Peed blood for 6 weeks and hurt for about that long. That's why I got in. Looked like an alternative to unneeded biopsies if it is what they claim.
