If you look at insider purchases it shows opko with 62.4million shares before the split
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Dr. Frost made a sizable investment in RXI, as well as a non diluting investment of $16 M with a group of his investors, financing RXI's Ph2 trials beginning this fall.
Available funds to complete Ph2 and well into 2015.
Dr. Frost does not invest in "dead" companies IMHO. Good luck All
RXII did a nice R/S.
investors money get killed.
RXII is dead.
and your reasons are...................
an asset agreement whereby Opko transferred their entire RNAi asset portfolio to RXI, making RXI a major player in the RNAi science.
Doubtful Opko will acquire RXI as their position as such will most likely prove more valuable to Frost if and when RXI is successful with RXI-109, along with their pipeline of opthalmology drugs.
Also, RXI's self delivering sd-rxRNA, a proven delivery method of delivering RNAi compounds that may prove to be a big part of RXI's developing picture.
Good luck All..........
