(NYSE MKT:LTS), an investment banking, asset management, and securities brokerage firm providing services through its principal operating subsidiary, Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc., in July 2006 and has been a director of Ladenburg Thalmann from 2001 until 2002 and again since 2004. Nice summary, cl. One other noteworthy point. Frost, during May, 2008, was named chairman of Modigene, MODG, an Israeli company he and some associates bought a large stake in last May. Starting on Friday, June 12, 2009, MODG's shares started trading on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol PBTH, Prolor. These past activities seem to parallel those currently happening with SFES and BZNE. The man is simply a genius.
Dr. Frost has successfully founded several pharmaceutical companies and overseen the development and commercialization of a multitude of pharmaceutical products. This combined with his experience as a physician and chairman and/or chief executive officer of large pharmaceutical companies has given him insight into virtually every facet of the pharmaceutical business and drug development and commercialization process. He is a demonstrated leader with keen business understanding and is uniquely positioned to help guide OPKO through its transition from a development stage company into a successful, multinational biopharmaceutical and diagnostics company.
