How are you?
HLSH bet seemed to work so far!
Operationally, we are all sure that the company is profitable busines and can survive.
What do you think of Criminal Indictment ?
For sure we know: Criminal Indictment = Bankruptcy ?
See my commments since yesterday night on criminal indictment and let me know your thoughts. you are one of the bright guys on the board. thanks!
I believe the judgement is uncollectable, but even if the get .10 cents on the dollar thats 50 million more than they have now. There is not much real info on the company, mainly just a bunch of fluff PR from the company itself.
BTW- MIR on sale today .68 cents.
Tuesday is an extremely busy day for earnings. FleetBoston (FBF: Research, Estimates), Merrill Lynch (MER: Research, Estimates) and Wells Fargo (WFC: Research, Estimates) are just a few of the financial services companies that will report their latest results before the opening bell. Drug and health care products giant (and Dow component) Johnson & Johnson (JNJ: Research, Estimates) reports its second-quarter results Tuesday morning as well.
Well, they finally put out a PR.
"Since the plan of reorganization has not yet been developed, the treatment of existing creditor and stockholder interests in the company is uncertain at this time."
So that means it's not going to be pretty tomorrow...what happens after tomorrow just depends on the restructuring plan that they end up filing.
For anyone that's upset, read this - you'll laugh:
I found this on the RRI board.
If there is something I never understod about MIR, it is the large number of dumbasses all around this company. From the management, downwards ... O well, I was part of the league for a while.
I also think $1 is realistic, but will be happy with less too. I just want out, I'll leave the bounce for someone else.
I actually was following the messages there and the bullish attitude seems to be based on the idea that the judge may force the banks to accept MIRs deal. Sounds realistic but I have lost money on much more "sure things"...
O well, we will see tomorrw.
It seems that there are people over there on the MIR board that think MIR is headed down tomorrow with a quick bounce back to $3 days later...what are they smoking?
I guess it's possible with only needing another 7% of the banks' support for two thirds, but how can they still be so bullish?
